Politics - Baraboo Wisconsin
by Melvin Smith - Saturday, 26 July 2008, 12:01 AM

Is heaven a BLUE State or a RED State? Is Jesus a republican, democrat, independent, or none of the above? Does God like war? Was the 'mission' really “accomplished” as President Bush claimed over five years ago? Oh, and one more question…

"He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor" Proverbs 14:31.

The Theatre of Life
by Melvin Smith - Monday, 5 May 2008, 11:49 PM

Hanging in my office is a short essay, 'The Theatre of life'. I don't know who wrote it or I would give them credit, but it was not I.

There are several versions on the internet and some seem more personalized toward the spiritual or they have little changes, additions, and subtractions but I'll share the version I keep and cherrish.
